I did the same thing last week.

In the end I created a 100Mb partition on each drive (I know it could have been smaller, but 100Mb is fine), formatted it so it boots DOS. I used MSDOS, in retro I could have used DR-DOS. Like it matters. Anyway, I created a .com file from www.rom-o-matic.com, and then use autoexec.bat to run the .com file. It works for me.

Probably not the most elegant way of doing it, but it gets them booting until I get the bootroms working.

Hi there all, I am just starting with ltsp and have
been booting from a floppy, it is pretty straight
forward.

I have not been able to find the eprom locally, so
while I do more research I chose to boot the terminal
from the hard drive.

The closest I have found is this text

http://etherboot.sourceforge.net/doc/html/lilo+etherboot-2.html

But I see it a little confusing, for now I have
installed the terminals hard disk on the server,
successfully

cfdisk

it and

mkfs.ext2 -c /dev/hdc1

successfully, is there a simple instructions on how to
procede? Im scared of blowing my server with lilo
commands 8/

btw, I actually dd from the floppys eb image to the hd
but that didnt work hehehe
