look at the original specs on the board, and find if it uses the via chipset
or the esoniq chipset, etc, then load those modules.. replacing the sb.o
with the correct modules, not exactly straightforward, but not that
difficult either

Boris Reisigs sound contribution has only a sound
blaster compatible example, where should I look to get
an example for my sound card?

Is there a way to ask my computer abount its sound
chipset to find its drivers moree acuratelly?
