I have done precisely this with an 802.11b bridge.

I used a dual nic LTSP server with one side on the AP's subnet. I let
the LTSP server do the DHCP for my LTSP clients on that subnet. The
AP's DHCP handled other DHCP requests. That arrangement worked fine
for me.
