Do you have any linux severs already running??
Are you going to buy a new server, but are trying to get it running
linux instead of windows?
I'm assuming the app runs locally on the windows machine and that
everyone accesses it by using TS.

The answers to the questions above might alter my advice below
somewhat, but you have a few options.
The first 2 assume that you need/want to keep everything on one
server. The last two basically keep the old server.

1. Keep your setup exactly as it is, and buy a huge new server to
support the software upgrade.
2a. If the application will run flawlessly using WINE you might
consider piling everything on to a new linux server.
2b. Just like 2a except that you put Oracle and or the PDC on the old
server. This lets you keep the use of the old machine and frees up
resources on the Linux app server.
3. Leave the application on the windows server. Put Oracle and the
PDC on the linux server. Whichever of these servers is the most
demanding of resources gets the new server.
