Nio,

Btw, I'd like to emphasize how thankful I am for your projects like
Lubuntu Fake Pae (my kid is a user of it) and OBI. Keep it going!

Regarding the lack of communication... let's learn a bit from threads
of the past. Maybe those will help us understand what's going on with
our community:
(please, read the whole threads)

Well, the lists are public, so everybody can see the rest.

My point of view is:
1) All leaders have a bit of a dictator so the main point is: how much
of a dictator are our leaders?

2) Aside from the leaders, is the community working well? By well, I
mean, contributing, supporting, testing... doing the community job. As
a social scientist, I'll a paper to help us think:
http://www.sscnet.ucla.edu/soc/csoc/papers/virtcomm/Virtcomm.htm

If you're not a reader, jump to the conclusions.

3) Has Lubuntu as a community failed in May/2012 and now the system
(or at least 13.10 cycle) becoming a failure?

4) Will 14.04 be a success or failure?

5) What we're doing wrong or right as community and where should we
change/improve?

As I said before, I'm a Lubuntu user/supporter/member... I care about
this community.

I leave the invitation open to everybody thinking about our community
and Lubuntu as an OS.

Best regards,
