Hi, FTP is not a webbrowsing thing. that is http. Apache does support file browsing (read-only) if you configure it to do so. (Wow, it did that in 2000 already: http://forums.devshed.com/apache-development-15/allow-directory- browsing-9072.html )
If you want to use sftp on windows, filezilla supports it perfectly fine.
