I've curated and sent the key points to someone in ICTAU/NITAU, and who
also has links in MICT. Not sure they'll act, but hope they do.
Otherwise, it would be wise and useful, for these regulatory bodies to
likewise have representation on such community lists as this - that'd
keep them in the loop whenever important issues are presented by the
members, and they'd have better context from which to serve the citizen.
I know I-Network does have such representation, and they often try to
discuss policy, but am not sure this particular list if well suited for
discussing/debating policy or politics - but can we avoid it/should we
avoid it? I think not where it's critical to the success of FOSS and us
as a community.

Your contributions were noble. There's definitely LUG mods on the
thread, and they'd possibly present this I believe, or at least
consider it, given the seriousness of the matter. Am not sure if
there's folks directly from MICT/NITAU on the thread, but those that
know and talk to them are here, and would possibly do good to voice
the key points from this thread unto them.
I'll personally take the thread and share it with someone I know, who
might be able to push this...
Debate -> Resolutions - > Action
That's the way it ought be. Let me play my part, and hope others do
likewise.
Thank you sir!
If there is anything I can do from afar, I'll be happy to.
Mark.
