Just to elaborate briefly on the notion of a hybrid meeting: Picture an in-person venue where those who are provably vaccinated and willingly assume risk can gather. In the room is a large monitor with speakers and a quality microphone (I use one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0779PKLV9/ ). Those are connected to a computer running a Jitsi Meet conference, set to displqy in Gallery ,Mode. The presenter might be among the remote online participants, or might be at the in-person venue. I've had modestly good success with those. "Hybrid" meetings are definitely a different duck from either all-online or all-in-person meetings, and maintaining fruitful interaction between the two groups of attendees is awkward and requires some care and diligence. Using good speakers and microphone helps. _______________________________________________ luv-main mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]
