Hi list

Happy new year.

This has been a fantastic few months. We got a lot of new
contributions, including a few new active developers. It's really
awesome to see this project grow. :)

The december target for 0.9 unfortunately fell through due to many
unavailabilities, including my own. I'd like us to retarget the
release for mid-January.

The following items are targeting 0.9. I have already pushed some back to 1.0:

One by one...

#55: Nobody picked this up. Panel startup performance has been a
growing concern and the volume plugin is a big culprit. Please,
someone step up to work on this, otherwise it will be moved to 1.0.

#56: Due to my absence, I have missed the progress on this but I've
seen both Luis and Paulo have done progress on it, correct? Paulo,
what's the status?

#134: A kind soul recently stepped up to do the work. We need people
testing and reviewing it - I'll help but I can't be alone in this. It
might be too late to have it in 0.9, but it would be really nice.

#156: This is something I would *really* like to see in 0.9 as it has
implications regarding backwards compatibility. I posted a detailed
plan about it. PCMan, can you take this?

#169: Unless someone steps up now, I will move this to 1.0. We already
have a lot of changes waiting in lxqt-panel and losing one is ok.

#252: PCMan, that one's yours. What's the status?

#312: Kuzmas, I think this can be closed, yes?

#326: I am moving this to 1.0, because the Screengrab developer is
active once more and we got something pretty nice going in
QtDesktop/Screengrab.git.

#327: Inti, what's the current status with it? I'd like us to work on it.

#332: Luis, can this be closed now?

We're really close guys. Tomorrow I will do some maintenance on the
lxqt.org website to move some things to the github servers.

All the best for 2015!

J. Leclanche
