Ah, interesting. And indeed an argument against giving up 
country-specific translations generally.

As you seem to know Portuguese really well, mind having a look at 
networkmonitor_pt*.desktop? Besides I don't speak Portuguese I'd bet 
"Translations" stanza in the Brazilian one is crappy, too.
