Consistency is good. But there's no reason to let the KLyX initiative,
which was basically taken apart from the LyX core group at the time, set
the standards.
KLyX is nice, but it's didn't extend the LyX paradigm that far.
The K people should have to jump through the same hoops as everyone else
when the GUI independent stuff is ready.
