That is true at the moment, but, at least from my side, this could be
solved, by making these administrators, and limiting admin rights for the
other (momentary) admins.

Other solution: make sourceforge an in-official mirror: mention it on the
lyx website as an alternative download location. Additionally, one could
sync sourceforge every 60 minutes, so that all changes on sourceforge are
automatically reverted. But isn't this always the problem of a mirror, thet
the website mirrored has no control over the mirror? But one of the above
mentioned ones could become most definitely admins of the sourceforge
account.
