Hi, after installing RC1 and then reinstalling back 2.0.8 my LyX install is broken since Tools->Reconfigure won't work anymore:
"The system reconfiguration has failed. Default textclass is used but LyX may not be able to work properly. Please reconfigure again if needed." Terminal: Running: python -tt "/home/pavel/lyx/g-free-2.0/lib/configure.py" --binary-dir="/home/pavel/lyx/g-free-2.0/src/" Unknown option --binary-dir=/home/pavel/lyx/g-free-2.0/src/ Systemcall.cpp (273): Systemcall: 'python -tt "/home/pavel/lyx/g-free-2.0/lib/configure.py" --binary-dir="/home/pavel/lyx/g-free-2.0/src/"' finished with exit code 1 - bisect leads to commit 0fc6cfcdcb78e537b183767474bcdea094fd9f0d Author: Benjamin Piwowarski <[email protected]> Date: Fri Mar 14 11:48:40 2014 +0100 Fix problem with python and change of PATH - waits that lyxrc has been read before finding python - when the PATH changes, resets the value - RC1 reconfigure works just fine. - 2.1.1-staging has this commit. - So we release working 2.1.0 and then butchered 2.1.1. I can just ask again that we reconsider this whole 2.1.1-staging idea and return back to normal release process even if it takes few more weeks for RC2. Pavel
