Hi,
I just had a LyX crash because I had the bad idea to manually resize the
LaTeX preamble window. First, the vertical scrollbar got wider and wider.
When I tried to resize the window to its original size, LyX died brutally
with the following error message:
X Error: BadValue
Request Major code 53 ()
Value 0x0
Error Serial #37093
Current Serial #37137
I use lyx-0.12.0 on HP-UX.
Ah yes, I almost forgot a detail which might be of interest: I had
manually enlargened the preamble window, then closed it, changed to
another document, and reopened it. only then the scrollbar became so large
that I tried to resize the window again.
BTW, is there a method to copy-paste between preambles of two documents ?
I tried with the mouse, which did not work.
Is there a version available that is more stable than 0.12.0 ? And when
can we expect the next public release ... ?
If I want a new version, say, sooner than in 4 weeks, should I grab a
prerelease, then ?
