If you wanted some math-formulars to appear in your figure and you want
latex to typeset them, to use the pstex form XFig is the best way.
the pstex-file is just a normal eps-file. Xfig creates to figure then,
first the pstex-file is imported, and then there is a normal latex-figure
inserted. XFig sets for to the second figure an offset so the latex-text
is placed at the right position in the pstex-figure
