Hi everyone,
updates about my former post. I had problems when exporting eps files from
xfig 3.2.2. The orientation of these files wa properly shown in lyx and in
the gv view of the figure but not in the final ps file of the document.
I think the problem lies in xfig, since it does not give any orientation
choice when generating eps files (correct), but it does write an
%%Orientation line to the exported eps file. I contacted the xfig
developer (an extremely responsive and nice guy), who said this is ifxed
in the next release.
Workaround for now: export in ps format with Portrait orientation from
xfig.
