Jokes apart: it seems to be a bit complicated, but I will think on it. At a first glance, I think, that it is not really "compatible" with lyx's concept, but at the same time I remember that the lyx-dev team planned to include a new feature in lyx "online change of paragraph layouts" if I remember well, for the post-1.3 versions. But: they were talking about _paragraph_. Nice idea, anyway.
