Future of Win32 native port?

Hi,
I found the Win32 native port of Lyx 1.3.3 on 
http://prozess.imtek.uni-freiburg.de/stoehr/LyXWin/ by browsing through 
the list archives. Can anyone comment on whether Ruurd (or anyone else 
for that matter) will be building future version of Lyx?

I'd build it myself in Linux but installing any distribution of Linux on 
my laptop is a pain :D
