Sorry, you're probably are looking in the right place, my bad. In the Terrminal, use this command:
kpsewhich -var-value TEXMFHOME If the result is something like this: /Users/justin/Library/texmf (where 'justin' is the name of your home directory) But the 'termf' directory doesn't exist, try creating it and then put the xetexCV.cls file in it.
