Yes, M100 CP/M prints to the M100 parallel port. Try LPRINT in MBASIC to
get your setup working - it does definitely work. I don't know for sure
with WordStar, but it could be necessary to do STAT LST:=LPT: before
firing up WordStar.

I dragged my Tandy DMP-105 out of the closet to try this out, and initially I
met with failure because I went straight into assigning LST: to LPT: as you
suggested. I didn't even try it out of the box first, and it turns out it just
works as-is! Fantastic!

The ribbon in my printer is pretty dry and the sponge is rotting apart. I knew
about this problem already so this time I took the cartridge apart (which I've
had a saved search set on ebay going for over a year now with no luck), cut out
a new sponge which is not exactly round but close enough to work, and then
realized I don't have any ink and don't really know what sort of ink would be
appropriate (I'm thinking it should be thick?) nor where to buy it. I'd guess
the ink they sell for refilling your own inkjet cartridges is too thin? Anyone
have experience with re-inking printer ribbons?

For matrix printer ribbons you need oil-based stamp pad ink.

Stamp pad ink comes in two main forms, glycerine/water-based, or oil-based. You need the oil-based both to avoid drying out while in the ribbon, and also (for pin matrix printers) because the the matrix impact pins need the oil for lubrication in their pin guides.

BCH is a good brand, but office supply stores usually have something on the shelf too but not quite as good quality.
