The i5 in the server Mac Mini is quad core whereas the i5 and i7
options in the non-server Minis have 2 physical and 2 hyperthreaded
cores. But either way when compared to the Duo you are getting a much
better architecture, more cores, larger cache and better memory

I've been holding fire on a Mac purchase until these new updates hit
and if you can RMA or otherwise get the newer Mini model then I
suspect you'd absolutely see the benefit -- especially in a 24/7
server box.
