Hehe....there are also plenty of male doctors ! ;-) However,I have to admit that being a sick chick is not much fun. I would much rather be able to be out cycling, rollerblading, imac'ing (I know that is not a word YET...) etc than in hospital on breathing machines. >> The idea of having a >> computer to kill the endless hours of boredom when I can't leave the bed due >> to my breathing, was something that appealed to me. I would love to have one of those. They are very light and you're right - the screen is HUGE compared to others on the market. >> I just wondered what the DVD's play like on an iMac. > > Good, assuming it isn't a dumb DVD that only plays well on some HW, > they are out there, but my x-wif has an iMac that plays DVDs and the > screen is good and the movies are fine, assuming you want to watch it > on an iMac > >> You may think the iMac >> screen is pretty small but when you compare it to the 3" X 3" hospital TV >> screens, it is huge ! > > I agree, my mom has been in hospital since last mother's day so i > know exactly how a hospital rental looks, and how much it sucks to be > in the hospital > Yep...it does suck BIG TIME...especially at 23 years old ! Those hospital TV's are tiny. I think they should talk to the eye specialists in the hospital about eye strain. Still, they are better than nothing I guess. >> Thank you for your feedback. I am going to look at all my options and try to decide which will suit my purposes the best. Not sure if I can wait for the next upgrade ...I have alot to think about with all these options.
