I use Ebay a lot there is no delay due to strike, more importantly why would you have to pay insurance for him? You do not receive anything if the package is lost, he does. Never get insurance unless the seller is paying for it and guaranties you a refund. Also his adding insurance after auction end is grounds to void the auction.
