The exasperating thing about all of this is that I'm perfectly willing to _pay_ his ridiculous S/H fee, provided that he simply double-boxes the item. Part of what set me off was my asking him to do this and rather than him saying something reasonable like, "Sure, slip me $5 US and I'll do it," he said he wanted _$15 US_, an extortionate ship/handling charge on top of an already extortionate ship/handling charge. I duly informed him that I was asking him to double box an already-boxed keyboard (it's intended as a gift), *not* asking him to crate up a bloody piano. > I've never had a need to go as far as filing complaints or bringing in > Squaretrade, I think that that will be my next step. I'll mail him late Sunday and let him know that if I don't hear from him by 11PM PST Monday that I will be "filing a case" against him. I just can't believe that it's come to this! <holds head in hands> Best, James Fraser -- Mac Canada is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
