When you're in OS X, go to System Preferences/Startup Disk to see if you
are given the OS 9 option. If not, you're missing the bootable system
files. You *may* be able to do a quick fix by 'blessing' the system file.
It's been a while since I've done it but I think you... nah, I'll let
someone else chime in on blessing the system. I'm sure I haven't remembered
correctly.

The problem is, I did that. It booted fine into X the first time then I
chose 9.2 and it came up with the floppy symbol. Reloaded X, reinstalled
it, then chose 9.2 and the same thing happened.
Rebuilding pram won't work, it just keeps rebooting. I took the pram
battery out, hoping that this would reset the cmos and it would boot
into the default os which I hope is X. Anyone know if there is a jumper
to reset the cmos or does taking the battery out do the job.
Very strange activity for something that has been rock steady since I
got it last year.
