<shudder> Sounds like you have SCSI termination issues. Good luck! I
doubt you have to reseat the card(s) (huh, SCSI cards?... the Beige G3
has in-built SCSI). Try plugging in the scanner again. And, make sure
that ALL your SCSI hardware that is connected to the computer is
turned on BEFORE you turn on your computer! Also, make sure you don't
have any cables hanging off the chain that don't have a device
attached. SCSI is finnicky!!!
