        My wife has a bunch of machines in her lab, "Quicksilver" PowerMac
G4s from 2002, that I think were stock configurations, that do not have DVD
playback. I did not think that we ordered them BTO without DVD, but perhaps
we did to save some money. Fortunately "target disc mode" allowed us to
install Tiger without too much trouble.
