Yes, it's using ethernet cards. Nothing more, no hubs or switches, just
ethernet and a simple xover cable. No, it is NOT 2 modems, dialing in
seperately, it's ONE 56k modem being shared to the second box via Sygate and
ethernet. Each takes the bandwidth it NEEDS for the task it's doing, and it
does take care of this nicely. I never have one box stealing all of the
other's bandwidth just bc it;s there, it seems to be shared 50/50 until I
use something that asks for more. if, for example, I start a DCC using a lot
of my bandwidth, it takes it. Then if I tried to start Everquest on the
other, the DCC would slow down a bit to give back some of it's bandwidth
back to the other machine.

But, this is involving of a separate piece of hardware, such as an ethernet
card, appletalk port or suche? NOT, allowing 2 separate computers, each one
dialing in toe an ISP with a separate modem!
