Why mess with SyGate? ICS is, in my experience, much
faster and causes less trouble, especially with
non-Windows clients. ICS also works with DAVE.
When I was trying to use WinGate, then SyGate they
would time out the connection to the Mac if the
Mac was idle, then I'd have to reboot the Mac to
bring the TCP/IP connection back up. Even worse with
either of those Gate products when either the Mac or
PC would crash it would hang or freeze the other one.
Never has happened using ICS.
