Do a search on eBay for dial up router or dialup
router
or dial-up router. The best ones incorporate a 56k/v90
modem, router and hub or switch all in one box.
Second best is a combo modem/router or
router/hub|switch
with a port for an external modem. The modem/router
has just one network port to connect to your existing
hub or switch. I've seen some go pretty cheap,
especially the ones that need an external modem.

The exceptionally nifty bit with these is they are
platform/OS "neutral". Anything that can use TCP/IP
and 10/100 Ethernet (some also have 10 Base-2) will
work. You also don't need to always have the computer
with the modem booted up and dialed in to use the
second (third, fourth...) computer on the internet.
Just bootup and connect. The router senses you trying
to connect and makes the attached modem dial up.
If you have two or more phonelines and two or more
simultaneous logins with your ISP there are multi
modem routers that can combine the bandwidth of the
modems into one somewhat fatter pipe. (They ain't cheap.)
