Only a workaround of sorts Russ, I also use IE5 and it tends to just blink off the screen at times, and I have no idea why. I've also tried deleting the prefs and so on, to no avail. So now I've resorted to trying out other web browsers. So far I'm using Opera, and that's fairly close to IE5 for speed, its download rates are much more consistent than IE5.
I love IE5 because of the 'history' and 'scrapbook' features. So for anything I want to keep to refer to later, I will save it to IE5's scrapbook, if I am doing any transactions, I will use IE5, but for anything casual, Opera is the cheese. I may even have a stab at some other browsers to see what they are like, I only wish they all had such an easy scrapbook feature.
