also check your version of ie5. we are running 5.1.5 and that has solved a
fair few rendering issues that were apparent with 5.0.*

I think you should be able to be go to carbon lib 1.6. Also if you cant find
the 9.1 update from apple -  i got it archived on my dev server. contact me
off list and ill give you a link or burn a cd or summat.
