yeah - it's good, and there's good support from the Yellowdog general list. I've been trying to learn Un*x with it for a while - first with a 6100 and monolithic kernel - now with a cute l'il iBook. In general, I think the g3 powerbooks are very well supported, now they've been around for a while - it's usually modem, sound and video which seem slow to catch up on the newer machines. The 2.3 release is a free download, for one CD, the 3.0 release is meant to ship April 16.
