Question for Malcolm (or other PowerBook gurus on the list)....

A couple of keys on my 190c have stopped working. They sometimes work if you
press them several times - but this is pretty inconvenient when you're
trying to type!

Any ideas what might be causing it? and if so, what the remedy might be? If
it means replacing the keyboard can you tell me which models use the same
one as the 190?

Re: WHO'S ON THE LIST
We have a load of (mostly prehistoric) Mac stuff here - ranging from an SE30
to our workhorse 200 MHz PowerPCs. Our most recent Macs are a B&W G3 and a
Graphite G4.

NOSTALGIA TRIP
It all started with a brand new Mac Plus back in 1986 which ran (or should I
say 'strolled along') at 8 MHz! It had 1 Mb RAM (which I later maxed out to
4 Mb) and no internal hard disk (What do you expect for a mere 1,700.00!).
Believe it or not there was nothing to touch it at the time - PCs were still
'miceless' and in the pre-GUI dark ages.
