The broadband uses Freeserve's standard external bb box.

I think I need a router box for the iMac and I presume a TCP number to punch
into the iMac but I'm short on the detail. What make of router box would do
the job?
Is there a list member who has done something similar and can give me the
benefit of their experence?

set up internet connection sharing on the pc. 2 network cards in the pc. adsl into pc card 1. add a hub between the 2nd inc card and the mac, set up dhcp on the mac to pic up an ip address from the pc.

we have win98 ics and a 10 mb hub connected to a dv400 imac.

works a treat.

drop me an email for assistance if need be,

look at http://www.macwindows.com/ for good insider information
