Try Mellel, half the price and much better.
I'll look for Okito to compare. I've just downloaded Mellel and will try it.

You will probably not find it. Nisus bought it out and renamed it Nisus Express, so basically what you are looking at in NE is Okito composer.
Mellel does translate .doc files. It is probably no better at it than Nisus but I recall NE is not that accurate. Look at the comparison chart on the Redlers web site.
