What? They produced Nisus Express. It's a fine instrument. Have you used it?
Since then OSX has gone through a number of changes. Why just port a classic application to cocoa, when aiming for something else, something better, writing from scratch? And, it is a small company, not microsoft, in a rush.
Since Joe Kissell "left", the
company has gone steadily downhill, so don't hold your breath.
Joe Kissell had to leave one day, and he didn't work alone.
I'm not holding my breath: good things can wait. And, I like Nisus Express. It's enough. I use Illustrator and photoshop for full blown graphic work. I don't write in Arabic right to left.
Anyway, I thought downhill was the faster way......
