and my Voodoo 5500 PCI card

Out of interest, does the Voodoo 5500 work with the mezzanine slot on early
iMacs? That would be the original Bondi and the Fruity iMacs I think.

_No_ iMacs have PCI slots, none of them. A lot of people ask similar questions, "will this card work in my iMac?" >No< "but what if..." >No<

lol

Nevermind, I don't mean to have a go.

No is the answer. "PCI" and/or "AGP" should not be used in the same sentence as "iMac" unless it has "...cards don't fit in an..." in between ;-)

Apparently, the PERCH slot in the Beige G3 and the Mezzanine slot in the iMac are one and the same type, and are in fact a 32-bit PCI slot with an altered pinout. Thus it may theoretically be possible to fit a PCI card to them via an adapter. Anyone who feels like wiring one up is welcome to try ;-)
