I can't help you out there sorry. The person using the Linksys box was a friend on cable, and that works fine as far as I know. I personally use ADSL and a Draytek Vigour router and a seperate Linksys B wireless access point / router, which hasn't given any trouble, even with multiple computers connected with DHCP and active all at once.
