Just wondering if this is a permission problem. Try Disk Utilty first  in
case that helps. Otherwise is and you know where the folder is that needs
changing then try using Batchmod to change permissions of a folder and all
enclosed items easily.

Might be wrong but it sounds like maybe something from a previous User (you)
has different short name) an dthus isnt 'yours'.
