Sorry Brian, I should have been clearer.
I repaired permissions (and there were a few repaired). I checked the
ownerships in the GetInfo boxes and I restarted into SafeBoot and
then restarted again. Batchmod verified that I had the proper access
to the Mail folder and I ensured the save privileges were applied to
all the contents but it makes no difference. If I try to create a new
mailbox I just get: Error - mailbox Creation Failed - Unable to
create path ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/Nameofnewmailbox.mbox
Any thoughts on the regeneration theory?
