Hmm, last time I installed a dev release on a prod machine, I got serious earache from the user, because the instability level was extremely high. We are talking about someone who needs their home comforts, if OOo bombs every 2 seconds, my life ain't gonna be worth living ;-) Re the good-day server, this happens a lot, I suspect it is underspecced for its current usage and it seems to go down or be unavailable more and more frequently. One of the most common reasons for not being able to reach it that I've noticed is when Maho is actually uploading his builds ;-) Serious bandwidth limitations so I'll just have to grin and bear it out.
