In the meantime, we should work on some documentation for our
users, like:

- how and where to repeat new bugs
Preparing this properly will be a big benefit for us when we want
to make some development snapshot an "alpha".
I have agreed to start this.
1. I will write a draft of the README which will be on the download
page.
2. IMHO there should be only one source for known bugs - IZ issues
tagged as DEFECT. At the time the build is release a corresponding
query should be done from IZ like this
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/buglist.cgi?
issue_type=DEFECT&issue_status=UNCONFIRMED&issue_status=NEW&issue_status
=STARTED&issue_status=REOPENED&keywords=aqua&order=issue_id
that is put on a static page. (There may be a little editing to do
on the bug list, since there is not universal agreement on the
categorization of issues as DEFECTS.) I will provide an example page
with the README draft.
3. I will include how and where to report bugs on the README.
I feel we should openly supply current builds from the OOo macport
download page. I m happy to call them Developer Snapshots or
Alpha1. The semantics are not that important too me.
Thanks,
Mike
