Hi all,

just a a quick reply before I'm off for the next couple of hours.

+1 for me too. We need user feedback that's why I voted for a
release of an aqua version as soon as possibel in order to not
loose the focus the media and everyone else around currently has on
us since Sun joined the Mac Port.

But by any means I wanted to abdanon the OOo quality! So I'm O.K.
if it takes another week to get the first "official" aqua build
out. We only have to communicate it all the right way and we need
to be honest in communication. We're not allowed to make promises
we cannot keep. I know it's marketing but we have history of
"failures" plus a strong competetor in Neo which currently is, if
we like it or not, considered the official aqua OOo.

I have build of aquavcl01 here
<http://termite.go-oo.org/MacPort2/builds/118>. I cleaned out the
build directory before starting it so it should be as vanilla as it
can be :-) Sadly Eric's Patch to get rid of the grey is used by
hand since I started the build before he commited his patch to cvs.
Adding japanese and french to it is just a matter of doing another
configure plus recompiling of some modules and repacking.

I assume Eric B has a similiar paket around and Pavel maybe too.

If we decide to put aquanativefilpicker into the first release as
well I can add this cws into my build but I would need some
assistance with it. Last time I tried to integrate this
aquanativefilepicker cws into my aquavcl01 build I failed and I got
an useless OOo.

Indeed. I try to be in the IRC later that day at about 19h CET (17h
UTC).

Kind regards,
Eric
