Hi,
I'd like to place the Aqua build of 2.4 on the Apple Software
Downloads site when it (the build) is ready. We no longer have a
current build up there, at least not one I could find, but one can
find updates to the costly (but ever less so yet no better for all
that) MS Office 2zerozero8. (Read the reviews and smile!)
The latest Aqua 2.4 is seriously out of date. I am currently waiting
on maho to verify that the DEV300_m2 build has been uploaded properly,
and the md5 sums published. It is a much better build for aqua.
I am currently updating the aqua download pages quietly to link to the
latest development release. With DEV300_m2 there will be a bit of a
fanfare.
The build I'd put up would be the one we release and I'd add text
explaining OOo and system reqs, or send them to that page. We can,
you know, put up builds there that are just for Leopard/Intel, with
a link to the more complete library of builds.
Good point about the system requirements of aqua.
What are they?
Mac OS X 10.4 (I don't have a machine to test whether it works).
410MB of disk space for the installed application.
recommended 1GB of RAM; 512MB of RAM minimum
