The snapshot is meant to be there to show the basic functionality and
look and feel of the mac aqua. As someone who never uses the merge
facility, this won't be an issue for me. For those who do, it is a
crash that doesn't affect what they have saved already.
This problem affects every platform, and everyone who is on the
development releases.
