Again, to follow up on what Christian is writing and what I've written in the past, please leave the old documents in place and unmolested.

When new documents are needed, make new ones and point to those. Having the old documents for reference is sometimes far more important than one releasizes - though usually after it is too late.

Please add the new documents along side the old ones. Freeze / lock the old ones.

Building OOo is not rocket science. In fact it is rather simple.

I disagree : if the build is now so easy (when people ask on IRC, I have some doubts though), it is firstly because some people, including me spend years to simplify, improve and change things.

And I fear put everything at another place, is simply the first step before to see the initial pages removed (for whatever reason, some day, like during holidays .. like now). Somewhere, it means, we will simply progressively lose all the story of the Mac port.
