Did that version install a filesystem extension, perhaps? I had a situation where a filesystem extension that worked for Tiger caused grave problems for Leopard, to the point where I had to boot up the leopard machine in target disk mode and remove the stuff by hand. > I tried to uninstall 0.2.4 version, but did not work, then I tried to > install MacFuse Leopard version, but still resulted in empty desktop. > Right now, I'm pretty confused how to fix my desktop. any ideas? When you say "empty desktop", do you mean that icons are missing, but you can get a Finder window, or do you mean that Finder isn't working at all, either? > And yes I have SSH deamon, but it is turned off and I do not plan to > turn it on ;) And if you asked if I can SSH to remote machines, yes I > can, I use it all the time. I don't think that Amit was asking if he could ssh to your machine, but rather if there was a way for YOU to gain access to your machine other than using the Finder. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "macfuse-devel" group.
