Well, you'll have to enlighten me then, because I've told you what I know about MacFUSE. > My trouble was I installed 0.2.4 version, which I suppose was made for > Tiger. How can you be sure that this isn't just circumstantial evidence? > Couple minutes later I > installed MacFUSE, the 0.2.4 version and surprisingly it asked for > reboot. You shouldn't be surprised. MacFUSE includes a kernel extension. It is not uncommon for a kernel extension installation to require a system reboot, although MacFUSE doesn't any more. Are you surprised when things like QuickTime updates require a system reboot? > And yes I have SSH deamon, but it is turned off and I do not plan to > turn it on ;) And if you asked if I can SSH to remote machines, yes I > can, I use it all the time. I wasn't asking about your ssh skills. I was asking if you could ssh into this particular machine and see what was going on.
