Thanks a bunch, Ward!

Maybe there is hope yet?!? However, these do not sound like repairs to be
made by the faint of heart or anyone less than a Mac genius! Can I bring my
computer into your shop for testing and (hopefully) repairs? And if so, what
all should I bring - CPU, mouse, keyboard, monitor? The glimmer of hope is
growing ...
